My own expansion on Samuel Bayard’s variation notation in 1944 Hill Country Tunes: Instrumental Folk Music of Southwestern Pennsylvania and Beáta Salamon’s in Magyar népzenei dallamgyűjtemény. These abcm2ps “decos” add support for above the staff variation-marking notation to abc.
